Our Mr. & Mr. began their journey together in California when Stefan crossed the pond from the U.K., on vacation to the Golden State. From there our sweet couple trotted the globe together, meeting up with one another every 6-8 weeks before Stefan made the leap and moved to the States!
Their wedding day was seamlessly chic and their choice of venue has a sweet sentimental meaning!
What was involved in the decision making process regarding Kevin & Stefan’s choice of venue?
After visiting multiple locations we picked Balboa Park, specifically the San Diego Museum of art. It was perfect as the architecture and design resembled that of Europe. Having the beautiful European architecture in San Diego signifies Stefan’s culture moving into mine – Kevin The Groom
Our Mr. & Mr. said their ‘I do’s on on the lawn of Balboa Park, full of smiles, handholding, and plenty of wedding day kisses. After they sealed the deal, our newlyweds were off to grab a few shots with their wedding photographer while guests sipped champagne and snacked on the (most amazing, seriously not joking! wait until you see it) charcituere board.
Our groom’s wedding day color palette was full of vibrant and earthy blues and greens with chic touches of gold!!
Seating at the wedding reception was al fresco style and guests dined under twinkling cafe lights. A mixed seating arrangement was designed with two long family-style tables set up on either side of the venue, and round tables in the center which each sat 6 guests. Tables were adorned with gold-rimmed stemware, mixed height tropical green florals, gold chargers, watercolor blue napkins with gold rings, TEAK chargers, and gold cutlery, AND it as absolutely as gorgeous as it sounds!!!!
Kevin & Stefan treated their guests to entertainment from local musicians while they celebrated their newlywed status deep into the night.
