What inspired you to start your business?
I designed for my own wedding nine years ago
What is most unique about your brand?
I think being educated in all styles of floral design really makes a difference in the quality, uniqueness, and creativity in my designs
What type of occasions do you love to design for?
Weddings mainly, events, and the occasional everyday celebrations
What is something more clients should be informed about when working with a floral designer?
I think a lot of clients assume we just “play” with flowers. It’s one of those things they really don’t grasp until they have buckets to wash and stems to clean. Above all though, I think finding a designer you trust will make your vision smooth sailing. Micromanaging products from nature never ends perfectly
What is the most unique design request you’ve ever received?
I love figuring out how to make unique structures. I made an entire arch way from moss once. It took a lot of spray glue and patience!

What is one thing about yourself that you love to share with your clients?
I’m a sap. I adore weddings. If I stay for your vows… I’m gonna cry.
What’s on the horizon for ‘From The Ground Up Floral’ ?
I am soon to be venturing into the education side of floral design. I will have classes up and coming soon!
