Mallery & Josh were wed in An Intimate Wedding at Carver’s Gap, Roan Mountain in Tennessee. The bride went boho with a beaded BHLDN gown and a floral crown, while the groom sported a royal blue suit accented by a red rose boutonniere. The bride and groom even brought their fur baby to the affectionate vows and grabbed a ‘family’ photo after saying I do.
Adventure seeking Tennesee Wedding Photographer Katy Sergent was on hand to capture the couples special day.
Mallery & Josh actually met back in high school, where Josh was the older brother of Mallery’s best friend! Josh’s sense of humor is hilarious and Mallery’s smile and laughs are contagious! It’s easy to see the love these two have for each other.
Mallery and Josh’s wedding was magical, to say the least! The two chose a spot close to the parking lot at Carver’s Gap on Roan Mountain so that a few of their closest family members and pup, Charlie, could easily be a part of their intimate wedding ceremony. They said their vows right on the Appalachian Trail (a few hikers had even passed through), under a quiet canopy of pine trees. After the rings were exchanged and their first kiss as husband and wife, we hiked up to the balds for portraits. As we were making our way up, the fog rolled in and we were literally in the clouds!
The Bride & Groom (literally) snuggled up to one another to grab those oh so sweet first few moments as husband & wife (you’ll see below!!)
The couples vows and bridal portraits are un-real with pine trees, peaks and ridges! Get your scrollin’ fingers ready because you do not want to the miss the newlyweds celebrate amongst the clouds.
