Hi Love Birds!!! So you may have noticed that I have been silent for awhile, you may have also noticed that perhaps things look a tad bit different over here at So This Is Love but you can’t quite put your finger on it perhaps? I have been busy moving my site to self-hosted, YAY! With a little help and a lot of late nights & Google, I did it; and I only cried once or twice, but who’s counting right?!
Now that I can breathe a bit easier I am excited to bring you May’s Wedding Gown Inspiration. Did you know that May’s flower is the Lilly of The Valley? (again, thank you Google!) I love the simplistic nature of this gorgeous bud and it’s intricate delicacy.
It left me searching for airy fabrics that are Spring Inspired with an easy transition for a summer bride and May’s Wedding Gown Inspiration. Which automatically set my alarm off to check in with Australian designer Grace Loves Lace. I have featured this designer once before, I was emphatically drawn to their gowns from the moment I knew of Grace Loves Lace; they are gorgeous, airy, boho chic, and just a tad sexy.
This months feature is the Grace Loves Lace Colette
Doesn’t the feel of this wedding gown mimic the Lilly of The Valley Bouquet? In the description for this gown on the Grace Loves Lace website it states that it is hand made to order with an average turn around time of between 6 and 24 months. A HAND MADE gown for $1300? You can’t beat that any day. Oh! and in case you are worried about the Colette being too ‘airy’, it does also state that it comes fully lined.
How amazing would this gown be for a destination wedding with your sweetie on the beach and your toes in the sand? Romantic.
So I have to ask, veil or no veil? Sound off in the comments Love Birds!!
