Blushing Beauty Microwedding Inspiration in California

When you think about marriage and what it symbolizes you think, purity, love, devotion, and romance. But have you ever thought about colors that symbolize these same words? This shoot used blush tones to symbolize love and affection and mauve to evoke purity and devotion. Berry tones were also utilized to symbolize life.  Stepping away from tradition you will see that the couple are in different clothing than what you would typically see for a wedding celebration to add a spin to everything. The shoot utilizes the key colors of blush and berry to bring to life the meaning of Love and Life.

This Blushing Beauty Microwedding inspiration really is a delicate, soft and romantic setting along with elegance in nature. The vision behind the design was to accent the venue and it’s beautiful architecture with the oak pergola and nature surrounding the oval.

What was your design inspiration?

The vision behind my design was to simply accent the pergola and nature surrounding the oval. We wanted to add an elegant and soft touch to an amazingly beautiful area. But also give meaning to what marriage is and the symbol of purity, love, devotion, and romance.

Describe your flowers.

Florals were delicate blush roses, ivory roses and little pops of berry tones along with a lantern to symbolize light and hope. The softness of the florals were little accents to not over take the beauty surrounding our reception area.

Describe your cake.

Our wedding cake was beautifully draped with wafer paper and lightly water painted with light pink accents and gold trim. The wafer paper was used to add to our theme of soft, delicate, and romantic.

Tell us about your attire choices.

Stepping away from tradition we chose to put our bride and groom models in a different clothing that you would typically use for a wedding celebration. We choose to utilize our key colors of blush and berry to bring to life the meaning of love and life.

Please describe any DIY, handmade or personal details.

Our unique element was the pergola used as a focal point to add to our natural elements. We also included soft touch of vellum menu wax stamped with vines to symbolize life & faith.

Describe the tablescape elements.

Our color palette was to enhance the romantic tone with blush and gold, mauve, and berry tones to add a depth in color. But also adding the touch of nature surrounding us and adding a rustic feel.
