This wedding day at Mirage Elegant Banquets & Catering in Township Michigan wedding was full puppies, donuts, and fun pops of color!

The bride’s vision for this wedding day was fruit salad! Full Stop. We are seriously in love with that inspiration! She wanted to incorporate super fun colorful elements instead of having a traditional wedding color palette. That included pulling in shades of pinks, oranges, yellows, greens, and blues. The fun and the bright and bold color palette is a representation of her personality.

That’s not all!

Because our bride was not going the ‘traditional’ route with things; she also had flower queens instead of flower girls! Two close friends stepped into the new role that was a modern twist, on an old tradition. In the brides DIY spirit, she made each of the floral hoops for her bridesmaids and flower Queens to carry, as well as their flower crowns! They a huge hit amongst her guests! The florals used for this color pop wedding at Mirage Elegant Banquets & Catering in Township Michigan were super fun and creating by using florals of varying sizes and shapes mixed with cascading greenery! The wedding reception florals were bowls full of lush florals accented by towering taper candles. For the captain’s table and the donut wall, the bride created the floral garland. On the head table, the couple’s floral designer created the garland and the staged the hanging Italian Ruscus.

The fun wedding day portraits that the couple and their bridal party shot, were taken at multiple locations. The bride and groom first shot a few photos together inside their favorite downtown Detroit restaurant, that had amazing views of the city. They then took to the rooftops with their entire bridal party for a few group shots. And lastly, our personal favorite, they walked around the muraled walls of Downtown Detroit to take a few wedding day photos that played into their ‘fruit salad’ themed color palette!
