Love a colorful wedding with personal meaning? Neish and Tish tied the knot in a Pop-up wedding in NYC and incorporating color into their day reflected personal meaning to both the bride and groom.

Both the bride and groom are from the Caribbean and enjoy vibrant color palettes, so it was a must-have for them to incorporate some playful colors into their wedding day to capture their personality!

On their ninth anniversary, Neish and Tish tied the knot. They set out to plan a low-key queer-love celebration that was full of color, easy-going and incorporated Caribbean vibes.

The couple, who are from Jamaica and Trinidad, knew that their wedding day attire would include bold beautiful colors as a nod to their Caribbean culture. The bride wore a one-shouldered red gown with a sparkly embellished belt detail. And in a reversal of tradition, the groom is the one who wore white. The groom wore a crisp white suit with a red bowtie and a pocket square to play off of the bride’s vivid and fun wedding gown! Even their wedding rings included pops of color. The bride’s ring was a heart-shaped opal stone, and the groom wore a wedding ring that was crafted out of patterned turquoise. You’ll get to see a close up of each of their rings, below!!

For Neish and Tish, their wedding day ceremony was just a formality. The couple was less focused on the ceremony details and more interested in documenting their love story as a queer couple who are deeply in love. They set out with their wedding photographer to the streets of NYC where they exchanged rings in front of Bethesda Fountain, as opposed to waiting until they arrived at City Hall later that day. How romantic is that?!
