Dallas Museum of Art | Engagement Session

This sweet couple returned to the place they met to celebrate their engagement! It all started out with a chance meeting at the Dallas Museum of Art.

The engagement session takes place in Downtown Dallas, specifically at Klyde Warren Park across from the Dallas Museum of Art. The couple, Kay & Damon, met at the Dallas Museum of Art over 4 years ago and they have been together ever since. Damon popped the question to Kay over Christmas and they really wanted to return to the spot they met to take their engagement photos. The funny part is – the museum wasn’t open to the public when we arrived to take pictures. However, after some sweet talking with a security guard, they escorted us to the exact spot that Kay & Damon met so I could snap a few quick pick of them. The photos outside are taken at the park across the street which is a hub for food trucks and hanging out. – Morgan of Morgan Tracy Photography

I love Kay’s signature lip and bold color palette! I wonder if she will opt for the same red lip on her wedding day. Her look is on point for the downtown vibe of their engagement session.

If you are selecting a unique spot for your engagement session; talk to your photographer about wardrobe choices to that will pop against your location, showcase your individual style while ensuring that you and your sweetheart’s love is front and center.
