A Kansas City, MO wedding at the 28 Event Space, catered by Chipotle (WHAT?!) shot by Becca Blake Photography, and a Ford Model T wedding getaway car that was previously owned by the groom’s great-grandparents! Unique detailed touches are the name of the game for Jessica & Blakes wedding.
The couples love story began over four years ago when they met for their first date at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and continued when Blake proposed in the same spot four years later – how romantic!
The couples earthy bright color palette for their wedding day can be seen in the bridesmaids’ floor length mint green gowns, bouquets completed with succulents, and boutonnieres to match. The bride and groom maintained a chic classic style to their wardrobe for the day including Jessica’s double stranded pearl necklace.
My favorite detail of the day? When the bride and her girl gang enjoyed some time together in the bridal suite donning matching button down shirts, sipping from personalized hand lettered glasses.
