This gothic-inspired styled wedding at The Lodge at Malibou Lake is a delightfully dark wedding day with candy-coated dreams and the fluffiest little black cat we have ever seen!

The wedding pros who dreamed up this gothic-styled wedding were inspired by a desire to do things a little bit differently! Dark purple and black table decor, brides with non-traditional wedding day crowns, and a teeny little fluffy black cat all join the mix!

Each bride slips on a wedding gown that is a little less than traditional, and both brides rock two completely different yet equally gorgeous styles. The first wedding gown is a long sleeve all-white wedding dress with a mock neck, and hi-lo layers of trimmed, tiered flouncy tulle skirting. The look is finished off with an epic gold earthy inspired bridal tiara. Our second bride wears a gray off the shoulder vampy wedding gown that is utterly lacy and made for the deeply romantic at heart. She also wears a bridal tiara which is created with delicate strands of white gemstones that appear to ‘grow’ from a gem-encrusted flower on one side of her tiara!

A delightfully dark styled wedding stationery suite sets the tone for the remainder of the wedding day decor that follows. A tablescape was stacked with florals ranging from purple scabiosa to black willows. The brides enjoyed a freshly prepared feast of filet and asparagus at their sweetheart style seating before moving on to some of the most amazing desserts we have ever seen! Delectable desserts in the form of a tower of macaroons, ‘wicked’ red candy apples, and a matte black wedding cake await our brides. The dessert table is accented by a black lantern that is overflowing with florals and geometrically inspired dessert trays.
