A chic, loft-style venue with exposed brick wall sets the tone for this modern-day bride meets fairytale classic. Lula Drake Wine Parlour was opened in the fall of 2016. Upon it’s opening several rooms dating back to the late 1800s were discovered, including The Pastor’s Study. The hidden rooms were previously behind boarded-up windows and bricked over doors, where they sat untouched for over 70 years.

A team of local wedding pros in Columbia came together for this styled wedding and reimagined Dorothy as a modern-day bride, including a sleek emerald green gown as a nod to Dorothy’s trip to the emerald city!
Shades of emerald green were used throughout this Wizard of Oz-inspired wedding and can be seen in the stationery, florals, agate escort cards, and a geode inspired wedding cake with matching fault line cookies!
