An Autumn Western Wedding Shoot

There’s nothing quite like a good ol’ Western wedding, especially when it’s set against the stunning backdrop of autumn foliage. The blush hues of the bride’s dress pop against the rustic landscape, and the groom looks dapper in his cowboy hat and boots. As the sun slowly starts to set, the warm golden light illuminates their intimate ceremony. The dusty trail leading up to the altar is decorated with bales of hay and pumpkins, reminding everyone that Halloween is just around the corner. And let’s not forget the stunning floral arrangements – a mix of oranges, yellows, and reds, perfectly capturing the spirit of the season. This wedding shoot is proof that autumn is not only the coziest time of year, but also the most romantic.

What was your design inspiration?

Inspired by Moroccan tiles, cowboy boots, and macramé. Vibrant florals and design delivered impeccably by @arelieventdesign. We can’t get enough macramé details! The gorgeous 3-part backdrop delicately draped with a design by @thewanderingknotco and even the cake was brought to life with macramé details by @karliebakes. Real life husband and wife, @tonette_shafer and @d_shaf are perfectly taken back into a boho western on this old rustic property. Now let’s talk about the star of the shoot, THE DRESS! @tonette_shafer stunned in this halter silhouette. Drama is emphasized with a dark nude lining, and directional change of the lace. The tassel armbands that add just the right movement to this boho wedding dress vibe! Dress provided by @rawgoldenrentals. Sealing her look with the perfect golden tones is HMUA @kaylaarielleartistry. Groom, @d_shaf, settled into his suit by @calvinklein and rocking his bolo tie, did you see the amazing pocket watch? The color palette of sun kissed orange, rust, and red was kindled by our California sunsets with contrast being brought in the invitation suite by @calligraphybymichellet. The perfect rustic decor provided by @honeywoodevents to create a dreamy tablescape and ceremony site. An amazing group of vendors making this bohemian western dream into a modern day romance is a brides dream.
