Ashley & Alexander’s eclectic wedding at True Food Kitchen in Pasadena was intimate and full of bold personal touches!!
The couple planned their intimate, yet bursting with personality, wedding day at True Food Kitchen in Pasadena; they chose the venue for its earthy bohemian vibe and its assortment of healthy eats.
The bride is an artist based out of Los Angeles, known as James Wilde. She was voted 2017’s winner of Best Street Artist in La Weekly, readers choice awards. When it came to her wedding day there was no stone left underturned that was not dripping with bold and vivid personality. The overall aesthetic of the day was whimsical/eclectic and designed in a color palette of green, blue and gold. The bride went outside her wedding day decor color palette when it came to her attire, wearing a pair of custom velour pink platforms and a custom pink faux fur coat.
Another fun aspect of Ashley & Alexander’s wedding day that we can’t get enough of is their open style photo booth with a hedge wall backdrop. The theme of the photo booth was cats! The couple wanted to honor their two beautiful cats known as Fuzzbuzz and Burger Bear. How sweet is that?! The hedge wall backdrop had gold letter balloons that spelled out ‘meow’ and cat nose props for guests to have fun and strike a pose.
The couple said I do in front of a supersized peace wreath that was decorated with long strands of rainbow-colored hanging ribbons, and florals. The peace wreath was later moved to the wall behind their sweetheart table when it was reception time. Their gorgeous sweetheart table was covered in a shimmery gold sequins linen and a laser-cut sign with the bride and grooms name also hung in the background.
A dessert station was decked out with a blue and green balloon arch and every kind of scrumptious dessert that you could dream up! The bride and groom brought in a cotton candy cart that hand-spun green cotton candy for their guests to enjoy. Other desserts included cactus themed cupcakes, cake pops, psychedelic blue donuts, a rainbow tray of macaroons, candy-coated green apples, and finishing off the night was a towering donut wedding cake!
The bride and groom included small potted succulent plants, as favors for their guests to take home!
