It’s fall in Atlanta and Chris & Eun An are celebrating their wedding day at the Flint Hill Mansion!
The bride and groom met when the groom’s parents went all ‘covert‘ and led Eun to believe that they were grabbing her phone number to set her up with a distance nephew! Well played parents, well played! Clearly, mom & dad, have an eye for matchmaking and their plan worked well because here we are listening in on their snowy proposal story and their wedding!
Lush green florals with touches of soft pink and garden chic decor are the name of the game when it comes to decor for the couples fall wedding in Atlanta.
The wedding day attire!
Eun wears a 3/4 length sleeve lacy wedding gown designed by Pronovias, paired with a cathedral length veil; that is finished in a scalloped lace detail and finishes her wedding day ready look with blinged out Badgley Mischka wedding shoes to match! Her bridesmaids wear floor-length soft pink bridesmaids gowns with ruched bodice detail. Our groom, Chris, is dapper in a two-toned gray and black suit and a succulent boutonniere!
Reception Time!
There were plenty of eats and good times to be had when reception time rolled around! Guests were served cuisine from both Chung Gi Wa & Divine Event catering. Two selections of cuisine come with two cakes naturally and the couple cut into a red velvet grooms cake topped with macaroons as well as a traditional three-tier all-white wedding cake. And if any of that doesn’t tantalize your palette, there was a dessert station with small bites for the pickings!!
Photobooth fun and dancing to live music ensued just before the couple makes a super adorable bubble exit that you won’t want to miss below!
From the bride:
We met through Chris’ parents who were my patients at the clinic I was working at that time. They met me as a provider couple times and they told Chris about me. He was not looking for someone at the time, we did not meet until few months later. His parents came to see me personally to the clinic ask my number and to see if I’m dating anyone. They got my number that afternoon, and I had flash meeting with his parents without knowing that they are his parents! (his mom said she is introducing me to his far relative nephew ; ) And we met January 2016, both had really low expectation as it was blind date set up by parents lol. But what a surprise! we fell in love on first sight and…the history continues ; )
How did Chris propose?!
Chris asked me If I want to go to the ski trip in January with his friend- Wes (one of our groomsmen). I flew to Colorado to meet them (they had to come from their routine business meetings in Cali), but Chris asked me to grab very very important package to the colorado as they had to finish their business projects together. He said it is a Tech gear that is very expensive and I had to pretty much “smuggle” into the airport as it should not be opened by others as it is a confidential product in it. So I pretty much grab the box the night before I flew out and put the whole box inside of my carry-on bag and checked them. I safely carried the box to the colorado and hand deliver that box to them
Next day, Chris and I had rough day at the ski course as I am super rusted with ski skills and I pretty much ate whole snow in that mountain. I took short break before afternoon run then it started to snow. Chis and Wes came back and asked me if I want to take a walk in the snow. We started to walk towards quiet, beautiful road where there is only Chris, Wes and Myself was there. As we are reaching toward the small cottage surrounded by big trees and he kneel down on his one knee and popped the question!! I was super surprised and I could see Wes was filming everything behind us! I said Yes to my love of my life and best friend!
