What was your design inspiration?
Inspired on a starry night, dark yet bright; pure magical and romantic with touches of sparkles everywhere but keeping the moody darkness of the night. Very playful setup for the non conventional couples.
The stars came out for this shoot at The Estate on Second, in Santa Ana, CA. With rich blue and gold tones in every detail, our magical vision was perfected with this celestial event. You can get lost in the tablescape, complete with constellation plates and chargers and, of course, florals to compliment.
The main event floor had a vast ceremony area, leaving plenty of space for your family and guests, a moon photo booth, and a generous donut wall. Reaching the top of the ‘stairway to heaven’, we saw that the second floor contains enough room for lounge areas and dancing. And there’s also a nice 2nd story outdoor loft/court, where a second dining tablescape was set up, as well as the sweetheart table, and another lounge area. Of course you could always just opt to sip your cocktails and make endless wishes upon the real stars. We finished this shoot with smoke bombs and appropriate star sparklers. I’m telling you, this shoot had me over the moon!
Describe your flowers.
Elegant and beautiful white roses, with touches of white orchids, greenery and gold painted leaves decorated each area of the venue in a dreamy way. Tall clear acrylic boxes with string star LED lights for the altar topped of with beautiful white majestic flowers gave this shoot a magic touch. Like the bright infinite stars in the sky.
Describe your cake.
One of the cakes was a set of 3 pieces, 2 small one tier cakes and 1 stunning 3 tier cake with a rich gold touch and delicate flowers, there was a second cake that was fully inspired in the constellation, with a crescent golden moon in the middle, totally beautiful when seeing from the top.
