Rojika & Ilan’s New York City Rooftop Wedding at The Bowery Hotel

I am a city girl at heart, through and through! I’d just about die without modern day technology and the thought of living miles from away from just about anything gives me the chills.

When I first spotted this rooftop wedding A) I could NOT stop looking through the photos (stalker much? lol) and B) I hoped to death that Olivia from Olivia Christina Photography would be just as excited as I was to have her couple featured, and here we are!!!

Ilan and Rojika contacted me 4 days before their wedding. With plans to have a larger wedding in Greece, the couple just wanted a small vow ceremony to make everything official in the US. They originally wanted to go to City Hall and keep the whole thing small , but decided instead to have their close family involved. They chose to move their elopement to a private terrace off of their room at The Bowery Hotel. Rojika wore a short white dress and carried a bouquet made by her mother-in-law, while Ilan kept his look casual, wearing a gray suit, sans tie.

The couple originally met through friends at different parties, then went their separate ways until they were reconnected through an online dating app. Rojika is a lawyer and Ilan is a documentary film producer. – Olivia of  Olivia Christina Photography

Intimate weddings can be still be packed full of chic style, tradition, and well, anything else you’d hope for when saying I do. Wouldn’t you say that Rojika & Ilan pulled that off perfectly?
