Nutcracker Themed Styled Wedding | Hip at the Flashlight Factory Pittsburgh

If you love soft details and tons of texture when you are taking in major wedding inspiration, then you are going to be knocked over by this Nutcracker Themed Styled Wedding at Hip at the Flashlight Factory in Pittsburgh!

We are big fans of anything Holiday themed, no matter what time of the year it is! In this styled shoot, Clara finds her prince and they celebrate their wedding day in a modern yet industrial lofty space, that is flooded with exposed brick walls and wood flooring!

Clara’s wedding day style is full on dreamy romantic surrealism! Our styled bride wore a mauve-y spaghetti strap gown with multiple layers of soft tulle and a bow back. For footwear our bride wore satin pumps with an ankle tie detail, very ballerina inspired! If the ankle ties don’t send you right over the edge, you are going to fall in love with our brides full on crowns (yes two crowns!) The first is a classic style full bridal crown that is worn high around a wedding day bun. The second crown is a wreath style crown handmade from the limbs of a balsam tree under Clara’s long soft wedding day curls!

The Nutcracker themed details do not stop at the brides wedding day style!

It wouldn’t be a Nutcracker themed wedding without the Nutcracker soldiers, and we have those too! Tall soldiers guard floor displays of votive candles and bottle brush trees in shades of glittering silver. Each place setting at the guest’s table is also topped off with an individual soldier for even more impeccably crafted detail! The guest’s table is also full of illustrations from all of the characters from within the depths of Clara’s dream, including my personal favorite: Mother Ginger!

The dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies would not be complete without lots and lots of sweets! A four-tier wedding cake hangs from a gilded display directly between two industrial-sized windows, with light pouring in all around it! Macaroons, ribbon candy, and cake pops are displayed on a white Baroque style half table layered with even more soft detailed design elements to make you feel like part of the realm!
