Pop-Up Wedding at San Francisco City Hall

A sweet & intimate pop-up wedding at San Francisco City Hall!! Our Bride & Groom only had three major requirements for their wedding day: an excellent wedding photographer, family in attendance, and beer! They were over the moon that their wedding day included all three exactly the way they pictured it.

Della went full on modern day bride for her wedding day look with a short length wedding dress which she ordered online, accented by a pair of hot pink stilettoes and a bridal bouquet made of flowers from Trader Joe’s! She stopped into the Rae Talbot Salon for her bridal updo and wedding day ready make-up look.

Henry was decked out in a steely colored blue/grey suit accented by a blue and white striped tie and wingtip shoes.

The Proposal:

We dated for 5 years while we both finished school and started careers—I’m a teacher and Henry is a firefighter. One Friday afternoon in January of 2016, we decided to go to Half Moon Bay to walk the beach with our dog, Zoe. We were walking along the beach and Henry had Zoe and eventually he said, ‘Take Zoe. I need to tie my shoe’ (Classic!) I kept walking a little and then turned around and he was down on one knee. We’re not exactly “beach people” but we like to go to Half Moon Bay because of the dog beaches and because the ocean makes me feel connected to my mom—she passed away in 2009 and loved the ocean. Not only was it a beautiful setting for our engagement but it also felt like my mom’s spirit was there with us. – Della, Bride

The party continued after their pop-up style wedding vows when the bride and groom took their guests to Faction Brewing in Alameda overlooking the San Francisco Bay.
